Directed to either one of the mods since I either aren't allowed to do it, or am not getting the hang of it: can we possibly make the List of street teams topic a sticky?

Make it easier to find for new people. Which we intend to bring in, all the time

Now that you mentioned it, I realised something... The links for the user profiles in that topic don't work anymore because the links for the users' profiles changed when the new forum came along. You might wanna fix those. ;)

Hate to double post, but I was thinking it might be a good idea to have a thread in this section that is JUST devoted to different votes. Then everyone could help eachother out across the teams?

What do you think? :)

I know we don't have any street teams in the US but I do spread the word as much as possible. I have several friends hooked on Poets of the Fall and the number grows daily. I wore my POTF Morpho shirt the other day out to eat with my family and a guy asked me at the restaurant "What is Poets of the Fall?" I stated "a great band from Finland. Go out online and check them out". I had no clue who he was. Perhaps he took my advice!!!!

YaY!! Someone else from the US :D I say we get together and start our own POTF street team :P hehe!!

Seriously though, I would love to help out as much as I can! I'm from New Jersey, and I've already introduced POTF to my boyfriend, who has shown it to several of his friends, and our roommates are catching the POTF fever too

I see noone has posted here in a while, I hope this topic isn't dead :( I really do want to help spread the word and show how awesome POTF is to the rest of the world!! <3

YES! USA popularity is MANDATORY! We NEED a tour here! They are vastly under appreciated. Cool to hear that you live in New Jersey. I live in KY and I've introduced them to my girlfriend and a TON of people. There are soldiers on our side now

A street team sounds like a wonderful Idea, btw. I would be up for an east coast team with branches for states.

There is a group on Facebook for the East Coast of the United States if you're interested in joining.

Attention Facebook members!!

The page 'We love Finland' has started a competition - which is the coolest finnish band. There are 19 bands. They created new pages for each band. I suggested POTF as the coolest one and I became the admin of the page.

I would like to ask all of you to like my page and spread the world to help POTF to win the competition. :P

Hey, welcome. I'm not from USA, or in their street team, but what I understand, the US Street Team is more active in FaceBook.
Here's a link to USA Street Team here in the forum:
http://www.poetsofthefall.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2425&start=90
And their FB page: http://www.facebook.com/groups/325226050844273/
I'm sure you'll find likeminded people there, and they will have some suggestions for you on what you can do to help. :)

Thank you DSOL! I didn't see this post until just now and I appreciate you passing on the link!
Our team is up to 64 members now and we seem to get someone new every day! We've had several plays on different radio stations and even a flier campaign! Our members are friendly, helpful and active to the cause! We've got Street team tshirts as well for publicity!
We've also got Canadians on our team so we can attack both sides of the border :)
Hopefully we will be seeing Poets in the states one day soon!!
