I'm not the greatest reader... I read slowly, and I never get to read the ends of the books I begin to read... Fact is, that I think nowadays many books are too long, with too little 'action' or humour... They are being filled with endless conversations and descriptions that do no good for the story itself...
However, when I at last get to find an exciting book, I read it in a very few days...

That's too bad.. These things take time. Sooner or later... you'll get into books. On the other hand... movies are sometimes better

Has been a while since I read anything else than newspapers and magazines. I came across audiobook "Chronicles of Narnia: Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" and managed to listen it during the weekend. Now I'm prepared for the movie  . Audiobook was interesting, I've never been into listening stories from radio or whereever. It doesn't even remotely come close to reading itself, but is good solution for lazy readers :P

I finished Michael Crichton's Prey last night. It was good but it was, well, a bit this-would-make-a-good-hollywood-movie -script. The ending was stubid.

Surprisingly very exciting and addictive.

A very great series! Love it! It's just annoying when you have to wait fot the next part to be published. Hopefully he'll finish the series some time soon..

By the way, does anyone know if more than four parts of Stephen King's 'The Dark Tower' have been translated into Finnish? I've only found the last three parts in English at book stores..and it's too expensive to buy them, so I'm waiting for the Finnish copies so that maybe one day we'll have them in the library as well....

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

I wanted to take 'Sphere' from the library, but I stumbled upon this one... I own the first two books so hey, why not read the third? I didn't like the first two books much, but yeah... I'd feel weird if I didn't read the third one as well. ANYWAYS! This books is just awesome! I actually liked it a lot. It was more down-to-earth, but Artemis is still such a Mary Sue  It's a good book.

Ann - you could try, errm, downloading that book in English. I do that when I'm unable to find translated versions of books I want to read. Reading off the screen is a b..- but if you're dying to read it, just go for it.

Dina's book by Herrbjörg Wassmo (that 'ö' should really have that funny line-thingy but there's no such thing in my keyboard...)

I've been planning to read this book for a long time and now I finally did it. It wasn't kind of what I had expected. It ended like running straight to a wall. :| You know, it goes on and on like a train and then just *bang* and there it is. *confused*

It's a photograph from Don Johnson Dig Band's concert taken by me. The guy in the picture is Tommy Lindgren (the singer), the nicest man ever!

In my (little) spare time I'm reading 1984- G. Orwell. The atmosphere is like HL2's one (and that's why I bought this book! )

I also read Harry Potter and the Half Bood prince : What I say? Pretty but HP 4 was better!

Spin by Robert Charles Wilson. It's hard science fiction but with great characters and story. Based on the premise: what if the stars went out?

Scar tissue by Antony Kiedis, the autobiography of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' singer. It was so touching and really enjoyable, I recommend it to all.

Last book I've readed?

Oh well, can't recall actual writer, but the name of the book was:
Bugei No-Happan: Spirit of the Samurai, wich was about family martial arts of the Bugei Ichi Ryu (if I remember the ryu correctly, wich I actually doubt), so It wasn't a story, more like a studying material.

Another book under studying is Kenji Tokitsu's "Miyamoto Musashi: His life and writings"

Last fictional book I've finished was Yoshikawa's "Musashi". Who would've guessed?

well, last one is recommended for everyone to read. Afterall, it's one of most important books in Japan. =)

I'm actually thinking about going to annual book fair in two weeks wearing a shirt that says "(not spoiling the name) dies on page [page # here]" as seen on TShirt Hell :P Because, you know, people from all over the country will be there just to buy our edition of HP6 :P
