If I can't say Poets Of The Fall, I'm gonna say Oasis then.

Oh my god! I've been away for a while, last time i was here this thread was on the third page and only had three pages! But my favorite band of all time (that's right, I think they're better PotF!:D) is Porcupine Tree, look them up, they're awesome. they're a Progressive/Psychedelic band from England, and they are wicked. some good songs are Trains and Blackest Eyes, shesmovedon is also good (it's supposed to be one word by the way).

Hi everyone :)

I am new here, but have loved POTF ever since I heard Illusion & Dream back in early 2005 :)

I saw them live last Sat as well - my avatar is one of the gig photos I took :)

I saw an interview of Poets somewhere online and one of Captain's fav bands is DEPECHE MODE !!! GREAT taste Captain. I have loved the band since mid 80s and seen them live 4 times - twice last year - in Helsinki & London :)

Have a good weekend everyone!

Well, my music taste is kinda weird. I only listen to metal, and Poets is one of the few exceptions. So, my music taste is kinda open minded, it's metal most of the times with some total non-metal things mixed in it :P

And since i can't choose, here is my Last.Fm (http://www.last.fm/user/Johrizz/) artists top ten
1. In Flames
2. Soilwork
3. Poets of the Fall
4. Rammstein
5. Arch Enemy
6. Children of Bodom
7. Sonata Arctica
8. Angra
9. Kamelot
10. Heideroosjes (Punk band from my own country)

But this top ten is not entirely a good reflection of my taste, since it's only stats and some new bands that i love aren't here yet because the old bands have more tracks played...so i would say, my fav bands are In Flames, Soilwork, Poets, Kamelot, Sonata, Heideroosjes, Amon Amarth, Angra and Children of Bodom. Also i'm starting to like Nightwish more and more :)

Hey, Brightboy is great! From Finnish bands Happoradio, 51koodia, Lapko, Rubik, Deep Insight, Damn Seagulls and Von Hertzen Brothers (and of course PotF). Other good bands would be Coldplay, Live, Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Jimmy Eat World and Muse.
At least I've been listening to these a lot lately.
