I'm not even sure it has started in Germany yet. Not paying attention to TV any more. What else do I have dsl for? ;)

Otherwise, Carni, it should be just your taste. It has sexy guy having lots of sex, sexy blonde girl who likes to be bitten by vampire and well, hunky Swedish guy with long hair and then of course lots of blood :|

The third season begun a week ago... I'M LOVING IT! Loved the second episode, but won't go into details cause spoilers suck! :)

I'd never watch the series. I watched some clips and concluded that it's despicable.

But books are amazing, though. I liked various absurdities about the story.
Like, a blond bimbo is being so intelligent (though I'm sure it's just because of telepathy gift  ) and a viking being a vampire... I was like "Hey! Don't defile my vikings!", but as the story unfolded, I found it quite interesting, despite its oddities.

True Blood is much more mature than other actual vampire shows and movies. I find the story line very interesting and the characters appealing.

And I just LOVE Eric!!!

I just started reading the first book of the series. So far it's been ok. 8)
