It's not mandatory to post here if you don't "hate" any potf song. Keep that in mind and stop whining.

No need for harsh rebuffs. I think we all understand what this is. :)
As for me:

SoL: Overboard-The reason is purely aesthetic. Overboard is such a powerful word, but the melody is so happy-go-lucky.

CoR-Ooh, this was a tough one. I love all of the lyrics, but if I have to choose one, I choose Roses, for much the same reason as Overboard. The lyrics are so dark and gloomy, but the melody is so happy. It just bugs me.

RR-This I can't quite decide just yet. The songs are still too new and I'm still too busy digesting them.

You're mean... I wouldn't call it whining, I'd call it... participating. :)

Interesting topic. I see that many people have chosen songs that would actually go to my top 5 favorites. I guess tastes vary and it's a good thing.

This is kind of a difficult choice since there aren't really any songs that I don't like, but as for least favorite, I think I would have to say Someone Special.

Since i was going to say almost the same, I can just quote you ;)
Someone Special is just a bit too mushy for me, can't really explain why.

Funny, I never understood the opinion that a fan should never be critical (in this case, not dislike any song). Of course you are free to avaoid this topic if you think a good fan should not go there. ;)

I personally find it interesting to hear what people do like least. I also think that if there is a favorite song, there's bound to be one at the other end of the spectrum - at least for me there is, I cannot love all of them equally.
*shrugs* 8)

Same for me -it's not that I don't like all of them (PotF is the only band who doesn't have a song that I really don't like), but I don't like all of them equally. Some songs take a long time to get into, and others just never start to feel like they were ment for me.

It certainly doesn't mean I don't like the band :D

I know they all speak, and if someone can get me to hear it then I'm more than happy to learn ;) But still, Lift is too easy for my taste (positive lyrics, positive melody -where's the adventure?), and I just don't like the backing vocals on Passion's chorus (it goes too high sometimes, it's the only reason why I don't like to listen to the song).

Not bad songs, but they tend to get skipped when i listen to CoR.

From SoL and CoR, you might just have chosen my favourites! :D

Hmm, to me, I guess it varies a lot what I like and what I don't, but if I count on what song I have skipped the most during time, I think I'd say Delicious or Gravity. Not bad songs, but I easily get "tired" of them :?

Hmm, doesn't this thread belong in the POTF department? :)

I think I'll have to say Clevermind is my least favourite, after all my pondering. I like the lyrics of it but the melody doesn't, stick, like the rest of the songs do. Although it's a pretty good grade for a band if there's like, one song on one out of three album that you don't like 8)

And a lot of you folks have picked my favs as well :D

ah but is it not them who fear? Fear to allow themselves to show every color of their being? By the way lets drag ourselves on topic, if you have a reply PM.

I don't hate songs, I love them.
Different songs are for different feelings. And it takes quite long to "know" the song. Finding always something new or thinking the text from other aspect. And at least when you hear and see them alive, everything works with POTF.
