I don't know, I've had a some kind of interest in Tori Amos' music since last spring, her songs are beautiful and she sure can make songs about everything :D

Handwritten (The Gaslight Anthem)

This finally arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I'm only 4 songs into it, but already fell in love with the title track.

Also new since my last post here:
- Amy MacDonald: Life in a beautiful Light
- Herra Ylppö ja Ihmiset: Mies ja Nainen
- Reckless Love: Animal Attraction (they look like an 80ies hard rock hair band, that's just fuun!)
- Poets of the Fall: Temple of Thought - bonus edition

I think Handwritten is a brilliant album, National Anthem is a personal favourite of mine. Hope you enjoy the rest of it :)

I have only listened up to track 9 so far and apart from the title track, "Keepsake" stuck out. I enjoy all of their albums though. :) CAn't wait to see them live in October.

I agree Keepsake is most definitely a highlight. I'm also seeing them in October when they visit the UK. I am really looking forward to. :D

I'm looking forward to hearing "National Anthem" now. :)
Edit: I heard it and I love it too. Great song!

They are a great live band. Be prepared for people pogoing though (in case you haven't seen the live yet) - I wasn't at my first gig (waht wa sI thinking?) and came away a bit bruised after standing in front row. Second gig was much more fun. This is gonna be my third.

"Living Things" - Linkin Park.

It's not like "A Thousand Suns", but it is a good album

Oh, thanks redbossfan for mentioning Anouk! I lately thought about a song of her which I really enjoyed but could neither remember the singer's name nor the song title! Random coincidences are awesome :)

Oh that's great Dorle, glad I could be of help. I just recently rediscovered her myself. I had her first two albums and then lost track somehow. I remembered listening to "Hotel New York" and liking it, but never got around to buying it. Now I checked how many albums she has and randomly picked two more. Haven't had a chance to listen to them yet. Funnily enough I was reminded of Anouk in March this year when I went to a concert in Arnhem and could not get a hotel room because she was also playing there that day. Coincidence there too. :) [/off topic]

The last one I bought was the disk called "Pavane". I found it at eclassical site and it's performed by Maxim Rysanov and Ashley Wass compositions of Claude Debussy, Richard Dubugnon, Gabriel Faure and Maurice Ravel. I'm istening to it right now and can say that the music is amazingly beautiful.

I'll be very interested to hear what you have to say about Alter Bridge redbossfan. I'm a huge fan myself in particular of Myles Kennedy's vocal ability.

Haven't listened to these albums yet. I know the first time I tried them it was too hard for me, not the stuff I usually listen to. However, last spring, when I travelled to many concerts with my friend, we listened to them a lot in the car an I liked them. Can't remember any particular songs thoough. I'll see what I recognize when I get around to it.
