Do I smell more thread necromancy?

Anyhow, I don't know what exactly to think about luck...
I used to be quite unlucky, everything around me seemed to collapse. Then, lately, I find myself in a lot of luck.
Sometimes I'm a little scared if it isn't just a silence before a storm...

Well....I simply don't believe in luck, although in some cases..... I can't believe what a luck I have :roll:

Everytime I catch myself feeling lucky, I have a misgivng, that something evil`s 'waiting round the corner' to balance it... therefore I am quite pessimist... so I can only be lucky and agreeably surprised, if the very worst possibility doesn`t come true...

I used to believe in something else, i barely remember.. life changes with bad things.. maybe good things too (that i wouldn't know).. but lately my life has changed and along with it i'm stuck believing in an equilibrium of all your bad and good luck.. i cant keep going without believing in my own quote.... believing that there are gifts from terror... if i didn't hold that belief i'd crumble

It depends on what kind of 'luck' we're talking about. I've never experienced war, starvation, cancer. I have a home, I earn enough to get by even when it seems like a rough patch on my life. Love found me even though I'm quite impossible

So, in the standards of the world around us, yes, I am lucky.

But if we're talking about the other kind of luck, always being able to draw the long straw, then no, that one I don't have. If something has an easy way and a hard way, I usually find myself walking along the hard way

And I never win anything. Never.

I can say I have a good life, even with the ocasional rough times, but luck in games and such or luck as in being in the right place at the right time when x happens is not mine.

I myself am a seemingly unlucky person but I believe that to be an illusion draped over our eyes to make us think that we're missing out on something (sometimes we are) but in reality we're all unlucky. Everyone of us, some more than most but in Billy Corgan's lyrics "rain falls on everyone, the same old rain" pay attention to the quote. Rain falls on us all maybe not as often as others but we all find moments in which we are all unlucky. It's something that I believe happens to us all, I don't think God just picks and chooses who's lucky and who's not. We all get lucky, we all don't get lucky.

Since that it's something in me that um a very Satisfied person in life,i think the luck thing is up 2 us in most of our daily life situations,some things r extremely lucky just like others r extremely un-lucky,but alot of things we can find something positive out of it ..the negative is always around but also so is the positive....& yeah some people's life is less positive than others but we can't be all the same ..still we got something positive that makes us special ... eventually my point is we decide what kind of luck we have the most..we choose !!!

I live for my dreams and, lucky or not, I fight for them.(I even would die for them, if I had to) If I lose them... I will turn them into the game... Cos if you lose and you think "I'm not lucky" - what that really bring to you... ZERO! I think, that I should not let me lose my hope... And I know, there are wins and loses... So I try just to get all those possibilities... which can make me better... Finally, I can't believe in the luck... I believe in my dreams.

i cant really call myself lucky now..... coz i dont really have anyone rt now who'd listen to me,, who'd be there with me..... im living all alone..... mom is living in a different city...... and dad is in the same city.... but he's the one person whom i dont want to see at all........ all i have with me are my frns, my galfriend, and this international forum.....

so luck is a different terrain where i dont exist.....

I can imagine the sort of hell that you're going through, and ive seen much is the forum that makes me feel very lucky when i read the unfortunes of the others cause compared with i went through its nothing and i feel lucky that i havent had the same fate as some of you guys.................BUT LETS TAKE A DUMP ON ALL OF THE BAD THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO US AND MOVE ON AND FOR THAT WE HAVE POETS OF THE FALL TO HELP US, LUCK TO EVERYONE, CHEERS!

I believe in good luck and bad luck and it is impossible for me to answer that question.

I have had both but I have not counted how many times I have had each so I don't know whether I am more lucky than unlucky.
