Hey! Two days without listening to my Poets???! (No music at all, actually)
NO WAY! Now playing my Temple of Thought- the song, wow... I'm having such a strong reaction by its listening... "Hey you, keep calm and... listen to Temple of Thought...", it's just what I'm doing! :P Oh well, it must be cos of today I feel sooo *in love* that I really don't care about anything else but my own feeling! And I must say that I feel sooo good!

Dubstep at its best. Lyrics are meh, but the beat & flow are awesome.

Remember this old thing Alpha? I just found better than this, better than Nero (which I back then recommended).

First i was going to just say Cornell's better. But then i stopped to analyze.
You know, it could be believable. You have a legal merit in liking the cover more than the original. That's perfect...in a situation where cover differs from original.
Which isn't the case here. What Poets did is a carbon-copy, a same song recreated to the smallest detail.
The only difference is the stage presence POTF have, i give you that.
Sorry, i take this too close.
one of reasons is your usage of  - are you really laughing at Cornell?
or are you laughing at those readers of the forum (like me) who care?
perhaps you are trying to show how cheerful you are - but the song itself is a really sad one.
this is wrong place for deep discussion but i really needed to vent.
bye

If you really think what you said was even close to being deep... :? ... the aim to do a cover is not to make it better -'Cos better or worse is what we tag to songs according to our taste - but to make it what the artist wants to be. Even about writing music the aim is not to write something good, but to write what the artist(s) love(s) to. And fans have no right to say what is good and bad...

Anyway, right now I'm listening to one of my new discoveries: The Frames - Finally
Awesome! 8) Also I love its frontman's other project The Swell Season. Recently, I just became very interested in Irish bands, I also found a new(for me) old(fact) band Thin Lizzy, they have really good music and their solos are flabbergasting!!!

Next time you need to directly vent to another forum member, you could do it with a private message to the person in question or to me if you like that option better.

I'm quite allowing to off-topic discussions as long as they're respectful and the overall tone of the message is a positive one.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion of the songs they present in this thread if they choose to share it. No one's opinion is more true than someone else's, no matter what the reasoning behind it is.
And when it comes to becoming upset over a use of smiley, come on. I'm sure it wasn't intended as a personal insult to you, BenAkenobi.

Oh, I'm somewhat shoked, that my use of this smiley did offend somebody. I'm sorry for that and I apologize. It wasn't intended at all. Maybe it's the best for me not to use smileys anymore. Would be o.k. for me.

Coolio, not bad! :) Have been hearing about her here and there lately, she seems to do all kinds of cos-/roleplay, hip-hip and music in general. I like.
Skrillex seems to be a good one too. He seems to be the David Guetta of Dubstep, having guest appearances on many artist's tracks lately.
