Had a couple of weird ones lately due to trying to make myself sleep more.
The first was a nightmare that had something to do with an adventure, I think. I no longer remember why or what the goal was. All I do remember is following a set of old train tracks that led to an abandoned train car. It was older than dirt, but the weird thing was that it looked like it was made completely out of hay. Inside was dark and damp and full of bugs and worms and stuff. I don't know why I couldn't walk around it, but I climbed on top of it instead so I could race across it. It was next to a tree, and all these threads, like spiderwebs were dangling from it. On the end of each thread (there were dozens) were little clusters of tiny worms. There was no avoiding them, so I hiked up my collar, and ran through them as quickly as I could. At the end I was covered and was brushing them off. I could actually feel them crawling all over my scalp!
Then the dream changed to me (but it wasn't me, it was a child) trying to jump off a roof onto a trampoline, I think. A father was trying to call to me and stop me. ( I say a father because it wasn't my father. I don't know who it was, but he looked sort of like Radny Pausch, the guy who wrote The Last Lecture.
Anyway, I/she jumped but somehow didn't land. Suddenly, she/I am a ghost too. The father tries to come to us but can't for some reason. It's like we're in different dimensions for a few seconds because each time he runs to us, we vanish. Finally, he grabs her and I can see what she looks like. He picks her up and holds her, reassuring her that everything would be fine, but for some reason, I knew it wasn't.
The second dream was on some campus somewhere that had a pool. I don't know where it was, never seen the place before. I was going to go swimming, but I didn't have a proper suit on. The guy in charge looked me over and asked me what I was specifically planning to do. I felt he was kind of being rude, so I said, "Well, I'm not going to swim laps, if that's what you're asking." I then said something like I was going to be jumping in a lot. That seemed to perturb him and he started talking to other people. I stood there and asked him if I could swim, and he said rather nastily, "Well, no," without really bothering to explain. I got really mad and blew up at him. I can't remember most of what I said, but at the end I yelled (while trying not to cry) "How
dare you?!"
I walked out and decided to visit different places, because for some reason it seemed I had been there before. I had to visit the art building, how could have not gone there yet?!
More weird stuff.
