Do you like to write and have a blog? I do! :P If you have one and wish to share, I thought there should be a topic about it.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, here's mine: PineapplePants SmorgasBoard

I love blogs! :)
I currently run 2 blogs, but one is in hiatus because I don't have the time to update it :( it's Unicorn Chopsticks, my food blog! It's in French but I'll translate the recieps as soon as possible.

And here's my second one: OkonoSomething, which will be about my trip in Kyoto next year :) I think I'll write exclusively in English so I can share my adventures with all of you!

well, I assume you might all have seen mine:

www.passioncolorseverything.com/blog

This is my tour blog, not only about Poets of the Fall, but most of the concerts I go to. I've started it in 2010 I think, but I keep going backwards to add concerts from earlier years.

Forget www.thetightropewalker.com - had to ditch it for a good reason.

I will always have www.thepotfstage.com Unofficial USA Fansite up, that won't change :) .

Thanks and have a nice day!

(Almost felt like I was reading an add :D )

p.s. I really like everyone else's on this thread, checked them out and they are great!

It's time to introduce me to my second blog, Learning Finnish

I've been trying to translate lyrics and articles almost since the beginning, but never on a regular basis. I wanna use this blog to do it more regularly. So far, I've only been posting old translations though, I still have a few of those. I aim to get the meaning across, I don't necessarily look for the best way to express things. some translations are quite literal, otheres are more free when I ha an idea as to what things might mean. I guess this won't mean anything to anyone but me, but feel free to check it out.
As for the Finns here: be gently with me, I am learning. I certainly hope I didn't make any grave mistakes, but if you find any, I#d be happy if you told me.

Oh and except for the very first time I have not sought for a translation and compared, so I have no clue how much I actually did correctly... ;)

That's a great idea, redbossfan!
I've been having almost the same idea for a few months now. I thought of creating a blog where I can put my translations from English to German (of lyrics, poems, etc.) in order to keep myself busy and to improve my English.
I'm still thinking about if it's worth a try or not and for how long I will be able to keep it up.

Just give it a shot. :)
And I shamelessly stole the idea from here: http://crazyaboutfinnish.blogspot.de/

I am hoping that I will force myself to do smething on a regular basis there. I have wnated to do like one song every week or every ther week, but never got there. Maybe I wil now.

Oh and to avoid double posts:
I have started to add some other posts to my tour blog - for now you can find them under "essay" (link on the right) - there are only 2 so far, both about music, but I've been in a thoughtfull mood lately and I still have some posts lying around from my old blog, so there may be more soon.

So I'll put you under pressure if I won't see a new translation every week. :P

Does anyone know a good page for my blog (when I could finally decide to create one) where you can categorize your stuff very well?

I said "week or other week" and meant it! :P
Besides, I doubt people who read my other blog will be happy if I stop blogging about concerts they care about in favor of translated lyrics they don't care about.

As far as I know you create all the tags yourself on any blog site and I guess the categories too. At least with Wordpress you do. Not sure though, have only tried LiveJournal otherwise - it has no categories and you create your own tags. Not even sure that counts as a blog though. Wordpress is popular, then there's Blogger, some consider tumblr a blog site. I'd suggest looking at different blogs and see what you like.
