There is an Angry thread, a Happy thread, a Sad thread and all that talk about love, but what about a Frustrated thread?

Anger and frustration are not the same so today I am frustrated. Really tired and exhausted of so many things.

That is all.

I've been frustrated for a long time and it still hasn't changed...

I had lots of projects in my mind and I couldn't get it into my head that I had to give up, forget, and make new ones.
I'm so disappointed now that I see it in another way. And maybe things are better now.

"Why?"

Not frustrated, but disappointed to hear about Bin Laden's body which made lots of question marks in my (our) mind.

I feel deeply frustrated.
Though I probably should feel proud since I managed to end one conversation not physically attacking the person I was talking to. I said I allow myself not to comment on what he just stated and walked out.
Funny how being civilized and ending it before it gone too far doesn't feel like win at all.

Maybe it doesn't feel like it, but you did.

I think I'm frustrated because I have to make choices and I'm always bad at making one:

a) I still don't know where I'm going to work in July
b) My classes end on Friday, May 28th. The POTF gig in Kaarina is on Saturday June 11 but I don't know if I'll have an exam on Monday 13th.
c) I found plane tickets at 303€ on FinnAir (Paris>Turku); I also found 278€ tickets on AirFrance but it's Paris>Helsinki. How can I get from Helsinki to Kaarina since I can't drive? :/
d) I'll never have the time to get my props ready (dress / make-up, etc.) if I can go in June
e) It should be easier to save money if I try couchsurfing... but I'll never be allowed to do this alone x) anyone?

I think you will figure out what to do and where to be  .

Me? Well, if I could I would be in Helsinki in a heartbeat, but I have constraints.

That is my frustration, although my family is first, I so want to run off to Helsinki for just a few days!!

Also I am tired of not being able to view vids because of where I live!

Watching a couple of vids I can watch on Last.fm by Allison Iraheta; where did this voice come from! She is great! Love the smoky-like voice and it's fun pop! :D

b) As for a decision, I cannot help you with that and I personally believe it is a bad idea to have other people decide things for you.

c) As for getting from Helsinki to Kaarina, try here http://www.matkahuolto.fi/en/ - there are several busses going. There are also trais from Helsinki to Turku. Yet, if you are only saving 25 euros on the plane ticket it does not help, because you would spend at least that amount on the train/ bus.

d) I don't get the comment about the props. What do you need props for?

e) As for couchsurfing: How old are you that you are worried you won't be allowed to do this alone? The age limit for the festival is 15, but I assume you are older than that.
Either way, if you wanna find a bed in Turku you'll have to go out there and ask for it. Maybe you get lucky.

Edit: one more thing you should know: Festival gigs are often shorter than regular ones. Unless they are they headliners they may only get 45 minutes to play.

haha as for d) I thought I might dress as the girl in Carnival of Rust - with few variations though. I want my first gig to be full of good memories :)

And e) I'm 18, but my parents are rather skeptical about their only child spending nights in a house of people they don't know at all. However if I plan it alright it should be ok.

I think I'll wait for the exams dates, in order not to rush and doing everything wrong :D thanks a lot for answering me!

Sometimes you try, but none of what you expected happens. Personally, I think it's because we're different in flairs, abilities. But that's not fair. And then you find it too late to survive. The more you move forward, the more you find yourself moving backward. But it's the only way you have, the door leads to future only opens with that key, if there's a door, of course. Then you find yourself nothing, a failure, a mistake in creation. Some say that "Never Give Up" or "Never Say Never", but it feels real, and it goes astray, and you feel you can't compensate...

@razor

Yeah, stuff happens, most get over it, survival instinct, and there is a silver lining.

I'm trying to just get over it and that is when frustration kicks in........luckily now just sadness has kicked in so I will go through the stages.

And life is not fair, is not only an understatement, and not only is life not fair, so are lots of other things.

That was my frustration in case anyone was wondering.

The old saying, Never Give Up, Never Surrender or somethign of that nature.

Now that is true frustration! I hear ya!

Mine is simply why? Why does so much not so great or even bad stuff happen on one dang day? Isn't there an upside to each day and where the heck is it???

Basically hating my day.

@razor

Have any openings for counseling.....funny how you seem to sum things up nicely :) .
