I have many favorites, more specifically in short quotes:

1. "It's over 9000!"

2. Baka = idiot in Japanese

3. Chikkuso = Universal swear word the Japanese use, and just about the only one my mum will let me say. When she heard me say it the first time, (I had slammed my toe into something on accident) she looked at me quizzically and inquired as to the origin of the term:
"Ray, what did you say?"
"Chikkuso."
"What does that mean?"
"...a bad word." *sheepish grin*
"In what language?"
"...Japanese."
"Sensei taught you that?"
"...we looked it up in the dictionary."
Haha, fun times...

4. Supercalafragilisticexpialidocious <--it's fun to type!

5. Galadalideoxyribonucleicacid <--one of Salvador Dali's works. It looks pretty cool!

6. Loogi. It's just too. Damn. FUNNY!

7. Revolution

8. Courage

Dang!

An excellent way to swear without offending anyone! At least I don't think it does..... :?

Foliage

Superlative

I like a lot of words, always because of the same reason: they sound good.

Bumblebee is my favorite by far, and not just because of Transformers.

Then there's bubble, splash, bamf (as in Nightcrawler's sound effect), Totoro, Mononoke.

In Finnish: hauva (=doggie), routa (=frost), kaamos (=polar night).

There's a lot more, I just don't remember them at the moment. Then there's of course the words that are great because they have a movie/TV-connection:

Mine! (Finding Nemo), D'oh!, Donkey! (Shrek 2), MO (WALL-E), Boungiorno (Inglorious Basterds).....There's a heap (=also a nice word) load of them, but they need to be said the right way.

@Darkness_of_Heart

I just like that they used "basterds" instead of "bastards"

Foe......short for enemy. See it's shorter and it sounds cooler than enemy.

Ain't..........my mother always told me never ever use this word. It has always been a favorite of mine.

Rickroll.......see I didn't even know what that meant when I heard it and I just heard it like a couple of days ago on here! So all this time this thing has been going on and I had no idea whatsoever. Actually I don't know if it was that important to know in the first place, but the word sounds cool!

Bromance..........just.....damn! Who thought this up??? :D

Mancrush.........again? :D

Is there a "girlcrush"? Or a "sismance"? Actually I hope not cause those words just don't sound good put together  (Well "girlcrush" has potential......womancrush does not)

Justified..........see if you use this by saying "I was justified" in doing whatever it was, everyone will at least pause long enough to think of whether it was justified or not.

Gator..........I don't think I need to say Alligator when I can just say gator and everyone will know what I mean.

Dressage........I just love the way that word rolls off the tounge! Not to mention I love horses, riding and watching dressage.

Passion.........not even going to explain that one.

@Snow

Haha, I remember when I thought "dressage" was pronounced "dress-IDGE", until they built a dressage barn down my road in my old town and my mom told me about it. That also reminds me of the word "canasta" because my Brooklyn-born grandmother always pronounced it "canastER" due to her accent. So when I was little, I would ask her how to play "canaster". Haha, embarrassing story, but true. :D

Nostalgia - Its pretty, so few people use it. And it describes that feeling of touching a patch in your life where the past is just so relevant soo beautifully.

Well, it's pretty commonly used by us. :) But a nice word anyway.
-------------------

Well, my favorite (english) word is probably "killjoy", I've heared it first in More, and I think it's brilliant.

For some reason this word has been haunting me lately. I have used this word many times but lately it seems everyone is! Still a good one!

Daunting.

Very proper English. I don't know too many proper English words, but this is most definitely one!

You're right ! The forum does use it a lot. But I have close to never heard somebody use it verbally. In fact most of my friends ask me what it means when I use it. I like defining it, the word itself is art in my mind.

Spitz - one of my fave kinds of dogs and of course the name is silly

Malamute - another funny name for a beautiful dog

Random - it's so.. random, I just like it :D
Quilted - yes, from listening to You're Still Here... it has a nice and rhytmic sound: quilted... quil-ted...
Shallow - this instead is not because of the song, I like the sound.. and the meaning too, the fact that it refers to the little depth of waters, but can also be for something that metaphorically has little depth.

Oh, and I like all the English words (or form any other language) that are the same as in mine, because I like to hear them with a different pronunciation (Like... nostalgia, cafe-latte... and many others that aren't coming to my mind now XD)

@Lisa

Cappuccino

Venti

Grande

Espresso

Just a few Italian words I like we use a lot here :)

Some others:

Salami

Parmesan

I think we adopted the above Italian words cause they sound better

The way I see it.. Either good or bad.

For the good, it's always splendid!

For the bad, it's always son of a bee sting!
