I listen to Potf all the time. And it makes me sad because I cant listen to other bands that I like. So I listen to more potf to make myself happy. And you know what, it works :D

It depends on the reason why i'm sad... if i'm like angry and sad, i listen to death metal which makes me want to run fast out there. If i'm depressed and sad, i listen to sad, calm rock songs and cry. Some kind of therapy.

I listen to PotF when I'm sad, and the same songs when I'm happy, and when I'm depressed. That's why I like them, the songs are both happy and sad for me.

of course I listen POTF when I'm sad or something is wrong...and I listen it also when everything's okey and I feel great.. There's just different songs for different days, like I always feel a bit better when I listen MTIABD,no matter how terrible the day was.. that's something great..

I listen to poets of the fall and Nightwish whenever I'm down, whether I'm angry, sad or joyful music always makes me feel better.

I love to listen to PotF when I'm sad. Their music always seems to lift my spirits.

Although, for several weeks after my grandfather died, I could not listen to "The Beautiful Ones." At all.

Yes, they got me through many bad times...
I don't even know where would I be without Poets, there's no band like them, no songs like Sleep, Everything Fades, Carnival of Rust, Roses, et cetera, et cetera...

Thank you. :)

On the other hand though, there were also times, when I couldn't listen to some songs, like Carnival of Rust, because they they reminded me of things as a broken heart for example...
Healed soon enough, luckily. ;)

All The Way/4U and Someone Special used to be my songs as announced by an ex boyfriend I was very much infatuated with who actually introduced me to POTF. Theyre now being used to serenade another girl. I havent listened to either of them for a long time

That sounds pretty pathetic actually

I didn't like All the way/4U at first. I guess back then I couldn't relate to that song.

But when I heard All the way/4U live for the first time I spontaneously bursted into tears. The amazing beauty of the song hit me quite hard.
I'm such a crybaby (and quite happy about it).
