I.R.I. = Indie Radio Invasion (unofficial abbreviation)
YOUR opinion down below, please......

What do you think about this slight trend that's been going on?
I think it's taken a lot of work from the US Street Team (you guys are amazing!) to get things where they are now with internet radios. And, if I got it right, even a "real" mainstream radio.

Can it become an invasion?
It's difficult to predict what things go truly viral, so that it reaches millions of people and sticks. But keep in mind that these online radios were around and had listeners before the US Street Teams got POTF "trending" in them by requesting and voting. I'd say it's already an invasion, and it can only get bigger from here.

Does this indicate any rise in popularity or reputation?
Yes. The amount of USA fans seems to have grown a lot within the last two years. And I don't see why this should stop: the US Street Team is still going strong. They keep gaining new members, they keep trying to find ways to break to mainstream radios as well, in addition to the online ones.

Is there a chance that this might give birth to adaptive radiation of Poets' music and so help the band distribute their marketing to new locations?
I have no idea. To make marketing in the US sensible, they would need to get their CD distribution working as well. There isn't much point in marketing something if all you can tell to your potential buyers is that "but it's not available here, you have to buy an expensive import with overseas shipping costs". And getting a distribution deal in the US... I don't think it's the easiest thing to do, and it takes a lot of work (and possibly a lot of money too) to get there.

Indie cred for an indie crew? Could it work anyhow to make it in bigger circles?
Why ever not? There's always the possibility of partnering up with different professionals in different countries, while keeping the artistic independence.
