I like it. :) I also like the trailer as such. Too bad I'll never get to play this.

Umm, in the middle of that demo playthrough the commentator talks about the music in the upcoming Alan Wake's American Nightmare and the last thing he says (at 4:33) is that there's a new single from Old Gods of Asgard as well. Right after it a song starts playing.
So is it OGOA or another one of those custom made songs the commentator also talks about?
It really doesn't sound like Marko to me, but he's a bit of a chameleon with his voice sometimes and there are technical possibilities to "distort" sound, so... And the song's overall style seems similar to the one that's playing at the end as well in my opinion.

The song is Club Foot by Kasabian, nothing to do with OGOA or POTF. I don't know why it starts right after a new single from OGOA is mentioned, but in any case, that's a completely different song. :)

You answered quicker than I got my research done (I was just about to edit my post, that it's not OGOA). No wonder it didn't sound like Marko...
But thanks for the info anyway!

Interesting, there was a review that Alan Wake would have a new song of OGoA and it was going to be called Club Foot. Strange mix up...

I think that in the last part of the video, when the black suit guy shows up, you can hear a song and the guy who sings sound a little bit like Marko ... but i´m not sure cause the song is really short

Yeap, that seems to be the one. The lyrics there go "I told you I'm a psycho", or at least that's what many people hear in it :) And it would suit the theme too, Alan Wake's evil double.

@BenAkenobi Also, POTF Tweeted about it: "Some of you seem to have noticed that the new Alan Wake video has a very short clip of some new but familiar sounds..."

By the way, Alan Wake's American Nightmare will be released on February 15th. I suppose the song will be available soon after that somewhere, hopefully :) POTF Digistore, maybe? :) Hmm, that sounds like I'm trying to fish information... well ok, sorta :D

Am I the only one who found the beginning of that trailer interesting? Old Gods of Asgard are all over that too - visually.

you either woke up very early or went to sleep very late... or skipped sleeping at all

Very well-made video indeed, so I guess there's going to be more. And have you noticed how while Sam and the other two are speaking, there is always something weird going on in the background (like at about 2:00, and other moments)

Yep, I can hear some familiar sounds at the end  And I already L-O-V-E it!!! *.* Been listening to those 20 secs on repeat :D When do we hear the rest of it?

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is released on February 15th (some sources say 16th?) so probably soon after that, or even on the same date. Not unbearably long, I suppose. :)

And I totally love it too, from the little clip we're now able to listen. What a KICK the song's got! I want this song more than the POTF cookies...

I love what I hear. Cannot wait to hear the rest of it, but mid February sounds bearable. I think I'll survive.

@Lisa I won't tell you that I'm a vampire. :|

Yes, the video is really good, I'm getting interested in this game! And at 2:00..  I almost fell down my chair when I saw it.. Yeah, I was tired.
The song itself is simply amazing, I'm in love!

We got CiL and we've heard something about another single release and now this "Psycho"-song is coming and Poets are making the new album and... I feel very very spoilt. Thanks again boys  :D Even though they probably won't read this, but who cares!

YEP, YEP! Interesting stuff, quite a lot, indeed!
It sounds like something new, again! But still so "POTF"!
I already caught the same passage in another trailer of AWAN, a couple of weeks ago maybe (don't remember if tweeted always by the Poets, or something I found in AW site... :? ), where you see AW alter ego (the actor who gives the face to AW, sorry I don't remember his name at the moment), while that passage is playing; and I can assure you it's more "catching"... you "get the feeling" immediately... A song fitting perfectly the character, feels like... Just love it!

P.S.: I'm not totally sure about the whole thing, cos it was very late at night, so it's possible I don't remember properly... plus, my second name is "scatterbrained", so... :| :P

Yes, POTF tweeted the earlier teaser as well. I don't think the "quality" of it was as good though, because Alan Wake's evil double was talking at the same time. Also, I think it was from a different part of the song as this new one. In the first one "I told you I'm a psycho" is pretty much just a whisper, where as in this new one it's being sung quite forcibly. :) Also, in my opinion this latter teaser is a little longer too.

He's Mr. Scratch (if you mean the character's name, don't know the real name of actor). He's one of the best "bad guys" I've ever seen unless the best, I.. kinda.. love him! Really, his character is unbelievable invention and the feeling of the song describes him perfectly.

He, he... I told you what's my second name... Thanks for specifying! :)

I meant the real actor's name (but I didn't remember also the character's one, so thank you!), and I'm glad I got the right feeling from the song, without knowing the character, actually, but just watching him in the video... Seems like you know him very well, The Foreboding...

Nah, it's just my impression after watching some videos and listening what game's makers are talking about him. But really good impression, I'd say 8)
(I mean, he's still a villain, but seems to be a succesfully made villain. I'm not for bad guys  )

When I heard the first part, I thought the song would be entirely like that (which wouldn't have been bad thing!), but the second one gives some new contrast and attractiveness to it. :)

I hope this Psycho song is going to be on the new album! Or in the digistore soon if it's from OGOA.
