did they ever support/open the show for any "bigger" artist? or was it always the main act?

In March 2007 they opened for Sunrise Avenue in Germany.
That's the only one I know about.

These haven't been confirmed by Live Nation or Poets of the Fall website yet, so take them with a pinch of salt, yeah?

That's why I have not added them to the list yet. I knew about these two, but I don't think it helps anyone here if I add unconfirmed gigs.

It has happened before that venues have announced gigs and even sold tickets and then suddenly the gig didn't get confirmed and people ended up with tickets to return (and planned/booked trips to gigs that did not exist).

Please keep in mind that if you plan to attend any gigs that are just rumored and book a trip based on the rumors it is at your own risk.

The Turku gig is confirmed via LiveNation - they have also added a midsummer gig at Himos :)

Oh that sounds interesting. I've never been to Romania and it's a Saturday. Hope this gets confirmed. Could be fun. And would make me very happy for the Romanian fans.

something different:
Does anyone need a ticket for Provinssirock (Friday) and/or Espoo Weekend Festival (Saturday)? Unfortunately I cannot make it to either. I have eTickets, they are easily via mail.
Provinssirock was 65 € and Espoo 59 €. If anyone is interested, please PM me.
(Sorry for the sales spam, hope that's OK - if not, please delete).

Is that venu easy to get to from the bus station? i would be coming from Helsinki and do not see the venu address on the bus stops?

and i guess i am open to any other info or suggestions! this will be my first time in Finland and i have to make sure I see POTF!

Thanks in advance!

hey M00P23, sorry, but I don't know which show you are referring to - there are quite a few listed in the thread. Could you please say which one you mean? :)

Edit. Ah, sorry, I saw in your other post - you mean the Apollo inTUrku.
The address is of the venue: HUMALISTONKATU 6 / 20100 Turku map

The busses stop at the main train station and it's a short walk from there. Schedule. If you click on the details for the bus you want to take, there are links to a map for each bus stop.
You can also take the train

You will also find a little more information in the first post of this thread. :)

If you have any more questions, please ask - it's easier to help you then.
Oh and cool that you are traveling all this way! :)

You're welcome :)
^^ The bus stop you need is rautatieasema - the main bus station is a little bit further down the road. Also walking distance though.

I added some basic Info about the artmania festival in Sibiu. Any help from the Romanians here is much appreciated. How to get there, location map, pblic transport, hotels in the area.
I'll search more later, but have no time atm.
I personally think it would be really funny if they decided to not play "Late Goodbye"

Edit: I'd be delighted if anyone found eTickets.

I only now saw your post, Stef. I'll do some research (I've never been to Sibiu, even if I'm Romanian :P ), so you can say that I'll be as clueless as foreigners at first. But to avoid that for you all and myself, I'll do my best and post info here in a day or two.

Hello all! I am from Bulgaria and i will do my best to be @ Artmania festival and will be glad to meet there some of you, sweet sisters and brothers.:)

I guess this info will be helpfull.
I wrote to the Artmania festival team with a question how can i get a ticket outside Romania.
There is their answer:
"You can order the tickets from our website http://shop.artmania.ro/ and pay them online.
- After you will complete the billing information, please choose "Digital Voucher nominal individual or group".
- After we'll receive your order we will send the payment form on your e-mail and you can pay it online.
- When you come to pick up the tickets at the festival site you need to have printed your confirmed order which represents your voucher (the one from shop.artmania.ro) and payment (from Pay-Pal) alongside your passport or another ID with the same name as the order has."
I will do this for me asap. :D

^^ah thank you! I ordered from them and the website said "Print the confirmation" , but this is much clearer. I'll add that to the first post. :)

^^ I've seen that, but as ususal, as long as it is not confirmed by the guys or Live Nation, I will not put it on the list. Nothing is offical until then and just because the Lost in Music page claims they will be there it does not mean they actually are. Hold your horses there ;)
