After CYHM....I was belonging to FEAR (LOL). Just to say it was not so good (even not so bad too).

No end, no beginning? Listent to the intro: it's just another world. Let's see: in the middle part the song it's not so different than Can You Hear Me, but...how it starts, how it ends...finally poets come back, again. It's just all.

I agree with everyone here! I think "no end, no beginning" is a brilliant song, and I can't believe how much they continuously keep raising the bar, even regarding the emotional intensity of the songs over time.. and i'm completely shocked at the 'to be continued' at the very end! Maybe Alchemy Vol. 2 wil begin with the track titled, "no beginning, no end (pt.2)" which would be interesting, but thats just an idea, lol..

Yes yes yes! I bought it today and I just love it love it love it! NENB rocks and CYHM sounds even better with the cd quality... :D

Then it's soo cool to watch the videos on my tv, the HQ rules! (I mean, I can almost count Marko's chin hairs in Lift's video  )

Then, the info about songs=very interesting, covers and photos=ART, production stills=genious and funny, some even a bit gross  Tiia, you are the woman!

And finally the picture of the last page: a combination of TT cover and CoR boothman... 8)

All in all pure PotF epicness, No End, No Beginning......

a few cents of mine

By the first chords and by the mood No End, No Beginning reminds me the Sting’s masterpiece Shape of My Heart.

It’s a hugely powerful song with nice compositions, perfect guitars and exceptional drums... But all these things don’t really matter when you start feeling the song, when you understand what the emotions were put into the lyrics.

I have some troubles with interpreting the song. I guess it’s about the beloved who decides to stay or to go. The monster of doubt advises her (or him) the wrong move, and you somehow feel it... But, at least, you are grateful for the time spent together.

It’s time to make a decision, and you can’t wait anymore to know will the sweet one breathe the life in your shades of grey or will just kill the lights and fade away.

Hope some day Marko will tell us what did he mean at this masterpiece... if it’s not too private, of course.

Thanks you, guys! Love your music so much!

P.S. Excuse me for possible mistakes, I have no English practice since 2009, and some words and grammar rules had a fate to be forgotten.

Unofficial lyrics here, from what I hear (they're NOT official!):

We can't seem to let go
The threads of
Feeling just doesn't show anymore
It seems like we're playing charades
Playing like we're afraid to live/leave

And this is one sacrifice I, I don't wanna make

Cos if there's no end, there can be no beginning (there can be no beginning)
If there's no end it feels like forsakeing the dawn we awaken and still we don't see
But I'm secretly grateful you're living this moment with me.
With me.

We can see where it leads
It's like you can't
Can't kill the monster that feeds on you
And no matter what you do it seems to get you every time

And that's a predicament if I know anything

Cos if there's no end, there can be no beginning (there can be no beginning)
If there's no end it feels like forsakeing the dawn we awaken and still we don't see
But I'm secretly grateful you're living this moment with me.
Yeah, I'm secretly grateful you're living this moment with me.
Oooh, oooh.

If it's just one life we're given, just one time you're living.

Oooh, oooh.

I feel your touch light a wild desire
Born on my aim to take us ever higher
In our love we are birds of prey
Every cry serves to lead astray

So carry my ache and you will know the feeling
Inside I am weak but for this love I'm bearing
So breath your life in my shades of gray
Kill the lights and we'll.... fade away.

To be continued.

Edit: The OFFICIAL ones are there too: http://www.poetsofthefall.com/lyrics/alchemy_vol1/no_end_no_beginning/

Sorry for the waste of space ;)

I'm listening to the song over and over again .... soooooooooo amazing and wonderful :-)

Thank you for the lyrics. They are on the CD booklet too, but there they are always so small .... now I have the bigger version and an official too :)

 The lyrics are so beautiful, just, just I'm gonna cry of this beauty, especially this line:

"So carry my ache and you will know the feeling
Inside I am weak but for this love I'm bearing
So breathe your life in my shades of grey
Or kill the lights and we'll fade away
"

Yes, the lyrics are heartbreakingly beautiful, and so is the melody, and everything about this song.

My favourite part is: If it's just one life we're given, just one time you're living because of the melody and the mood in it. Favourite piece of lyrics in this song would be the same as Mahoniara's. It's terrifying because of what it means (to me anyway) but beautiful at the same time.

Edit: And Olli's guitar solo is mindblowing.

This is it: the beauty of tragedy.

When I first heard the sample, I got a similar feeling to when I heard the sample of War (for the record: I fell in love with that in that exact moment)

Then I heard the whole song. Oh. My. God. o.O

The intro is already one that gives the shivers... the song is... the only word coming to my mind is epic.
I was expecting a slow semi-acoustic song, or I didn't even know what to expect exactly since CYHM wasn't really my thing.... but NENB is absolutely mind-blowing
Makes you think of some epic rock piece from the '70s. It's.. it's astonishing. In the last part it had me in tears at first listening.

The solo is AMAZING (please, let Olli do this stuff more often! XD)

the song reminded me of a review of TT I read last year, where there was a sentence I particularly agreed with. It said something like "TT is the example of a band building their real potential". I felt like that too about TT and I think they're really going on a great direction with a song like No End No Beginning.

hmm... What else can I say? :P I might have to take one song away from my top5 to make some room for this one :D

THANK YOU for creating something so unbelievably beautiful. Again.
praying they'll play this on Friday ^^

Thanks to whoever posted it on YouTube. (I have to wait an extra week for the album to get here!)

I haven't been this moved since lift, I think. Or CoR, perhaps. I was left literally shaking.

It's brilliant. A masterpiece, pure and simple. 'Nuff said.

Yay!! Two hours ago I received mine. When my father brought it I think I made a bigger noise than Adam Lambert when he's singing  and I couldn't stop for a few minutes. I just couldn't believe he was holding Alchemy. Now I have to read it from inch to inch (maybe there is something hidden in it  ).
'No End, No Beginning' is another masterpiece. This song simply makes you dance, smile and cry. There is no part I don't like about it. I love Marko's singing, the melodic line, everything, everything... I think this song deserves a video as incredible as COR has, but I know, you need resources, time and all that stuff a video requires.
I'm truly happy and grateful POTF have 'found their inner voice as musicians' and share with us, their fans, their work. "I'm secretly grateful you're sharing this moment with me"
LONG LIVE THE POTF!

Usually I get everything 1 day later than raspu and he lives about 50 km from me. German mail is weird sometimes.
