Hey, sorry if this has been posted before, but I've just ran across the Late Goodbye piano sheet music transcribed by someone from a Max Payne board.

http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/s ... e=0#788370

Piano Man has the pdf files, and also a couple midis.

Finally we can play Late Goodbye on our pianos!

Danny's had it on dannys.st/potf for a long time. Just enter the upload part, and you'll find it

[EDIT]Although it wasn't as long as this. Thanks :)[/EDIT]

Same here, flexcat. I never really learnt music notes. Or well - I did, but I read them through.. slowly.. then memorize them. I can't do it with this

Yey, I always thought that I`m the only one :D

Uh, I think that I`m not the right person to give you any tips. I`m so crappy player myself.. I should actually play some vivaldi tonight in front of much better pianists

Can you guys post a new mirror, or possibly e-mail the stuff to tahtikapula@hotmail.com? 3drealms won't let me register and dannys.st doesn't seem to exist anymore.

By the way, is this the version a hitman is playing on the piano in MP2 at some point? (Sorry for being so vague, it's been ages since I played the thing.) I tried e-mailing the band about the arrangement once. Never got an answer. :(

Thanks in advance!

Same here o.o man, I'd like to give it a try, though...

if... you could... send it to andreoszwald@hotmail.com... I'd be very grateful :-)

AFAIK, "official" sheet music or tablatures of POTF songs simply do not exist (meaning the band has never made those).. that's the reason you can't find them on this site, and why POTF can't send them to you (not because they don't want to :)) The only exception is the Late Goodbye tab, which is available on the Extras page.

Oh, that's a shame.

If the arrangement was made exclusively for MP2, I wonder if there's more to it than the ~30 sec piece featured in the game... Well, chances are the guy who played it still has the sheet music. Maybe I'll try pestering the Remedy people next. 8)

The Late Goodbye single has a full-length piano instrumental version of the song (check Discography). The bad guy in Max Payne 2 plays the chorus part. This version is also by POTF, but AFAIK (again...) I'm pretty sure they don't have any sheets of it.. (they don't really need printed sheet music & tablatures at any point in their music production).

Aaand, a big bump up to the top. I have managed to trace a copy of the Late Goodbye sheet music and midi, transcribed by someone known only as 'Piano Man'. I had sent a copy to mate of mine, and luckily, he still had it.

That .midi made my day. :)

Of course, it's important for everyone to know (you already stated it, I know) that everything in that .zip is unofficial.

Yeah. But Kudos to the guy who transcribed it. Must've been extremely hard.

Hey everyone,

I am really sorry to revive an old thread. But I have always loved Late Goodbye and it was only recently that I was listening to the song again and decided to google the sheet music. I found the other thread posted at the start and also this one but unfortunately neither of the download links seem to be working anymore :( I was just wondering if someone has a link to a mirror or is willing to email me a copy of the piano sheet music?? I would really really appreciate it and be forever thankful!!!

if you would like to send it my email is oneman2233@hotmail.com

Thanks everyone for your time!

I've just emailed oneman2233 with the midis and the sheet music to Late Goodbye. If you want a copy, just email me and I'll forward you a copy:

I'm really sorry to necro-post, but I've been receiving a steady, slow stream of emails requesting this sheet music.

Back then, I contacted POTFmedia.com and had them upload the sheet music.

Here it is: http://potfmedia.com/audio/late-goodbye-goodies

I remember digging the music up from a forum, I had to register. Whoever Piano Man is, he is very skilled.

And again, another necro-post, but I promise this is important.

Someone contacted me to obtain this thread's sheet music a while back. Just today, he emailed back with a properly transcripted version of the official piano version of Late Goodbye (from the Max Payne 2 soundtrack).

Anyone who wants this, just email me: themanifold'at'gmail.com

DOWNLOAD IT HERE: http://www.filedropper.com/lgb

Sorry for nitpicking, but the piano version of Late Goodbye was not in Max Payne 2 or its soundtrack, it was just a bonus track on the original Late Goodbye single. That's it, please continue! :D

I can remember a part though of a guy playing on a piano as Max Payne walks down some stairs... I thought that was taken from the piano version on the Late Goodbye single?
