Have one correction and one question about the Poet and the Muse lyrics. (Blackened to avoid the spoilers!)

"And told her stories of treasures" - I hear "the stories".

And what does the sentence "the witches cabin key" mean?

I think it is witches' cabin key, and that it means.. the key of the cabin of the witches. Maybe he has to meet some witch to have his love back.

I hope the mysterious die-hard fan of Old Gods Of Asgard will add the official lyrics of The Poet And The Muse to the fansite he/she made, if he finds them somewhere  (or is it for some spoiler problem they can't?)

Sir, don't forget this song is from the game, so that line is a clue from the story 8)

Actually, simply because it makes a whole lot more sense to me after having gone through this game quite a few times by now to make sense of the story (it's not one of those simple endings where everything is explained :P), I believe it is witch's cabin key referring to a very important place in the game. I couldn't explain more without starting to spew out a lot of spoilers, so I just won't write anymore.

But yes, I believe it is witch's cabin key - especially since it is a particular she that gives you a key to the cabin in question during the very start of the game as well.

Someone has any idea if I can have the artwork of OGOA's latest album in high res? Wanna use it for the song I have on iTunes as album artwork. Thanks a lot!

So, official lyrics The Poet and The Muse are available on the official site about OGOA

Mahoniara, thanx, honey for the good news. *hugs* Can't wait to hear it again in the game. I'm in love with that moment.

In the context of the game, Children of the Elder God is much better song (best moment in the whole game)

I've only just realised that Admin had moved my post from the topic I'd started still overwhelmed by the emotion of hearing the new songs in Alan Wake (and immediately realising that they *were* by POTF :)). Thanks for that.

Oh and I'm still pretty much amazed by what the POTF and Remedy collaboration has brought us. Here's hoping for more songs in the DLC, but I won't keep my fingers crossed. I guess we've been given enough already anyway. :)

I am just so obsessed with the Old Gods, that I would love to play one of them in the upcoming DLC and naturally I wouldn't mind if they have a "new" old song on their lips. The game provides so many cool and entertaining characters I would all love to play with. Ofc the game is about AW, but maybe the next DLC will start with Alice... who knows?! :)

Actually, it has been confirmed that both of the upcoming DLC's will star Alan Wake. But we don't know who we're going to meet. ;)

DLC-thread on the AW Community Forums: http://forum.alanwake.com/showthread.php?t=4047

I would definitively love seeing (well, hearing really) new Old Gods of Asgard songs. :D

My only complaint is that I wish the "musical guest" had actually played a song, rather then just walk out and shake hands.

That's not much of a complaint.

No, it isn't, but the short blip is part joke and part the fact that it's more about the game than anything. ;)

Well it tells us that Alan Wake made his name by creating a hard-boiled New York detective character who was "all about his pain."

Hmm, who else do we know who did that?. Not in a novel, but still...

And Sam Lake makes funny faces. My life is much richer knowing that Sam Lake makes funny faces.

I didn't actually know that PoTF were in Alan Wake until today... I can't exactly play the game (no XBox) ...
I'm guessing the lyrics to Poet and the Muse is actually part of the mystery of the game itself?
