Because you should be paying double what the asking price is of their music. Head over to the shop and order the CDs.

I already own all of their CD's but they're a little hard to bring with me whenever I'm somewhere else than home.

POTF has only their singles on Spotify, and this arrangement works best for them at the moment. Several other bands have decided to do a similar thing. If you have their CDs, you can of course just rip them and listen with your portable player or laptop?

Have to say that I didn't like it when I noticed it myself. But I've already ripped my CDs and storing them everywhere I possible can for easy access :p

Sometimes when I'm on a party or something and they use Spotify (very normal these days), I'd love to put on some Poets and blast some quality rock at people. I don't always bring my cd's and laptop...

I respect their decision, but in the long run, I think it's the wrong one. Both economically and in terms of publicity. I admit however, my own limited in depth knowledge on the case.

Phoenix Effect should a least get Hey You and some of their awsome songs out there!

yeah I noticed this too a while back. But I just thought you need to be a premium member to listen to them, but apparently not. I've become a bit too reliable on spotify though and I need to use my music player more and listen to some cds.
