It's amazing that apparently you can get a physical CD printed and delivered in shops faster than you can get a song available on iTunes. Anyway, the parties who are responsible for getting the song on iTunes are aware that many are waiting for this to happen, and I'm sure they are doing their best.

Hey, thanks, c.
...
I've heard a preview of DWA on amazon.com, and whoa, it sounds a whole lot better than the radio rip. If only I had ordered the single...baah, 43 days left until the album :P

Thanks for the heads up! I went to Amazon MP3 on my phone and picked it up for .89 cents. It is so awesome. 8) :!:

Edit: This version is so much better than the radio cut.

Edit: Bought 2 copies so far. :p

Just bought the mp3 from Amazon, because i'm too impatient to wait for my CD to turn up lol. Great song, loving it more than the radio capture on Youtube.

Can't wait for the new album.

You won't believe if I tell you what I had to do to get that preview from Amazon  And... it's not much better than the radio version  MP3 is MP3

 Well, since I couldn't listen it from the site, I did some manipulations to catch the link in the status bar. Then I made a screenshot and pasted it into PS. Then used it to type the link correctly - letter after letter 8) After all this I pasted it into my browser and downloaded playlist. Opened it with editor and took the direct link. And after pasting this one into my browser I downloaded the song... huh )))

You might want to take a look at the band's Twitter feed. :)

It was posted on Twitter. It is also here in one of the threads somewhere I think.

Only what the band said, which is "very soon".

I thought they'd update the store constantly, but now I think it must be once a week.. :|

Video premiere is tomorrow! I guess it will be less CGI and more performance (like D4T).

Actually D4T probably has the most CGI of all POTF videos, every single thing expect the band & instruments is rendered. LUTS on the other hand has very little (if any) CGI, and the only real trick is the motion control camera that allowed combining multiple shots.

In any case, DWA will be the first POTF video ever with no CGI or other computer tricks whatsoever. :) It will also focus on telling a little story, rather than a band "performing".

I stand corrected... :)
So the video will have some "real" actor(s) (other than band) like Samuli Vauramo in Broken Promises (and Mark won't be the protagonist)?
We'll see, we'll see...

edit:

Thanks for that link!!
I'm just watching it for a short time, and Poets of the Fall - Diamonds for Tears is already on! And I haven't seen a bad song yet. I want a tv channel like that here too. Finns just have a great music taste.
But how do you know the video premiere is tomorrow? Have I missed something, is it announced somewhere?
Would be great though, I love most PotF music videos, so I'm curious what they'll make of this, especially after what I've read in the posts above.

You might to want to take a look at the band's Twitter feed (which is also mirrored on the top right corner of this forum), and this was also announced on Facebook.

Dreaming Wide Awake is up on the Zune Marketplace. Didn't think they'd actually get it up before iTunes.
