I haven’t wrote here yet, that’s unbelievable! :?

So there is many things I would thank Poets, it’s a few of them:
Thank you so much for your music. I found in your lyrics and music my soul, these song are all about me, I don’t know any other band which every song is so touching and it speaks about me and my life. I’m completely rapt with what I hear! Sometimes I have bad days and I want to say people Don’t Mess With Me! Sometimes I feel like King of Fools. Sometimes I feel like Dying to Live. But all the time I’m feeling like in Shallow song, I think this song speaks about me, because in general I am a quiet person, but when situation needs it, I am a different one. Often I think that “The images they sell are illusion & dream, in other words dishonesty” – that’s very true. And also the other song which is about me it’s “All The Way / 4 U” I’m searching that one person in my life, and the man from this song is my dream, I want to find someone who can Heal My Wounds and lift my spirit. I listen to your songs when I am happy and sad, because you give me a peace and joy. I can write a long report about every song and what it means to me, but I won’t bore here people :P (Maybe some other time).
Also I think you are great people because you aren’t so closed to the fans, we can talk to you and you often answering to us on many portals (not many bands do this). You are very nice people and I admire you for your patience. Sometimes when I read really stupid questions by the people I am irritated, I’m sorry for them…
Just one of my the biggest dreams, it is to see you Poets live on the stage and feel the magic you spread.
All these words isn’t empty, you mean so much to me. Thank you Marko, Olli, Markus, Jaska, Jani and Jari for your job. And please, don’t stop it!
I have hope you will read it someday. I know my English isn’t very good (sorry), because I’m learning it not for a long time, you give me also this spur to learning it more, because I would like to speak with you for a while without barriers
So thank you so much for everything! :) :*

Probably I’ll write here another day, when something different comes to my mind

I know I've already posted here, but I honestly need to thank you again. I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate your hard work and dedication to your music. It has paid off, I can tell you that. Your music has gotten me through so much, though I don't have the time or room to explain even half of it. Thanks for getting me through this year. I discovered your music last September, and haven't forgotten that day I first listened to "Carnival of Rust". That was a life-altering experience, for sure. Best wishes. I hope I am fortunate to see you guys live someday. That is my only wish.

If I could have a hug from anyone right now (and right now I need one...), it would be from the POTF. Is it creepy/strange to say they are like the friends and family I never had? Because they are. When you are lonely and have very few people you can talk to about things, you start to go insane like that. Oh well...wishful thinking. :(

Darling, what you said is not so strange, our soul needs to have some feelings and if it can't make concrete them with something real, then it idealizes them through what or whom we feel "close", to make them "alive".
Whatever happens in your life never lose your ability to dream and to imagine, cos often it's the only thing that can help you to overcome difficult moments....

I'm a lurker, so it's possibly my first and last post here. ;-) Not that I'm the antisocial type, or anything... :D

I'll skip the 'PotF changed my life because...' part, simply because it's personal and can't be put into words. :) Or if I did, those would be very embarrassing words, and I'd rather spare the general public exposure to those. :D (*cough* if my soul has a soundtrack, it's composed of PotF music *cough*)

My thanks is for something else. I happen to be a fantasy writer. And I happen to need music to carry me through the novels I'm working on, from scene to scene... and PotF does it. Unchangeably since Late Goodbye, the music has never failed to do the trick. I've heard different opinions on TT, and from the purely musical standpoint I could probably offer a more objective opinion... but it so happens, the entire album has given me the kick I needed to maintain a steady progress on my current project. And that's worth a thousand thanks, and it would still be an understatement.

So, thank you. :) It's an eerie experience to listen to something and get the feeling my mind has been read. :) It's inspiring, and makes me feel connected, and so profoundly glad I get to live in the times such music has been created so I can experience it, draw from it, and hopefully pay it forward in my own way.

Kiitoksia paljon :)

About this time last year, I remember that I truly hated myself and I felt that I didn't deserve to live. It was like world war three inside my own head. But I then remember listening to 'Maybe tomorrow is a better day' and it was like a light had been turned on inside my head. About a week or so later I managed to admit I had a problem. POTF are totally right. 'Maybe tomorrow is a better day' is now my philosiphy for life(not sure I spelled that right). Thank you for giving me optimism. I owe you guys :) <3

I would like to thank them for giving me such good music to listen to. Whenever I get upset or depressed, I climb on my computer and put them on... or failing that, listen to it in my head. Got me through my last breakup, got me through all my friends leaving me, and quite literally have helped me maintain my sanity. Thank you so much ^.^

I wanna thank Poets of the Fall for a great present - a birthday wish with their own signatures :-) I was very suprised (I live in the Czech Republic and wasn't expecting a letter from Finland) and happy when I got it. And I wanna thank my girlfriend for arranging the whole thing. :) :) :)

This is dedicated to my most favourite band 'Poets of the Fall'.
[hope i have included every song!]

I begin my Dawn with the Roses of your songs,
burning with the Desire to Seek You Out with a Clevermind.
As i go All The Way 4 U, that Someone Special,
i become Miss Impossible as i want More.
My Illusion & Dream make me go Overboard,
I feel like Everything Fades away thinking i am the King of Fools.
I hope you will Save Me, coz i am not trading Diamonds for Tears; they are Fragile.
I can see the Smoke and Mirrors of this War, and wish someone would Heal My Wounds.
This is my life in Rewind when i was Given and Denied which led to my Psychosis.
I feel like i am Dying, singing a Late Goodbye.
But Change is inevitable and my 15 Min Flame dies out.
So Maybe Tomorrow Is A Better Day after all...!
What a Shallow thought i had, i did not know the Gravity of Love then!
Where Do I [We] Draw The Line, i ask myself.
I think i should let it Stay and Lift my soul.
Now i am Dreaming Wide Awake and in my Sleep, i know You're Still Here.
Your Passion [for music] Colors Everything.
I play the Revolution Roulette at 3 AM.
I tell the world, 'Sorry go Round and Don't Mess With Me!'
It's my Ultimate Fling, coz I [You] Know Your [My] Name.
I will be Locking Up the Sun, coz without your songs my life is nothing but a Carnival of Rust.

I hope you like this. Hoping to see you live in Pune, India or anywhere abroad...! 8)
Your songs are mesmerizing, addictive and i don't wana come out of this addiction!! :D
Keep rocking! \ m / :)
Best Wishes to your band,
Shanti Pancharatnam.

I would like to thank the Poets for not sucking. I live in America, so I hear lots of music that is utter crap. Only 2% of American songs I've heard are any good, but 100% of everything I've heard from Finland is completely awesome. The Poets, Nightwish, Phoenix Effect, Lovex... How can one country be so awesome?! And I'm the kind of guy who only likes the best of the best music/movies, etc. See, once upon a time, I was on the hunt for the ultimate band. After finding the Poets, I have yet to find anything better.

EDIT: Had to leave for a bit, but now I can finish my post.

Aside from the music, another thing I like about the Finnish bands I've listed is that they all have dignity and subtlety. Whenever I think of American music, I think of overrated pop stars who dress like sluts and couldn't sing to save their life, and bands that are intentionally offensive so they get attention from media watchdogs (what comes to mind is Insane Clown Posse, which is unfortunately my brother's favorite band).
When I think of Finnish music, I think of a better world.

Also, Marko is one of the few man-crushes I have (a guy you know you would be all over if you were a chick).

Thanks a lot for the last album! =)

Can't push it out from my iPod and to be honest just don't really want to do that :)

Lots of deep lyrics to think over and over and beautiful than just a music.

You really make my day, day by day :) Thank you, guys <3

Thank you Poets for making me like the rain even more. I have liked especially drizzly weather for a long time. Everyone else I know have always hated rain and those gray skies. But I'm fascinated by them, the colors of sky and rain. :) As soon as I started listening to POTF I noticed (well, at least with the help of some interviews) that rain has inspired them a lot. I don't know if Poets like rain, liking is a different thing than inspiration. However, the lyrics made me think of things and now that I know there are thoughts even a little bit like mine I rejoice.

I just came home from school and there was a refreshing wind with a drizzle. I was singing Diamonds 4 Tears (not ear candy for the other people on the sidewalk)

So, thank you very muchos Poets of the Fall! This was just a minor thing to mention. I would get an innumerable amount of wrist cramps if I wrote here every single thing I would like to thank Poets about. Let's just say they saved me. Peas! :)

I think every good artist deserves a thank you, Poets of the Fall also. I want to thank you guys for making your music available for everyone to hear, that's the biggest gift a fan could wish to have. Listening to your music calms and makes me relax, I'm able to think. I actually like falls more than I used to, there's music that I can listen to while walking outside. Marko has amazing voice that gives me goose bumps, it was hard to believe that he was a Finnish singer! But he is and I'm proud we have such a talent in our country. Thank you, Marko. Thank you all for letting us hear you.

I was thinking a while to put nothing here, but I really should. I will thank you Poets of the fall for many things...

Once there was I nice weather on the morning. I'm use to ride my bicycle to the university and it's just 6km trip oneway. Then on afternoon the weather has changed and it was raining dogs and cats. First I wasn't worried about the weather, but after I left, the front weel of my bike were blown out. There was a nail on the way. I was very furios, wet and angry. Then I heard Marko's voice from my MP3-player: "...Maybe tomorrow is the better day..." and I couldn't help laughing to my situation. I walked home and it took more than a hour. I was soaking wet, but still smiling.

I want to thank you Potf for making me laugh, cry, smile and even more than the other things making me dream. It's the little things that makes world better. I hope to see you soon in live.

I want to thank the band for so many things, but mostly I would like to thank you for the inspiration your music gives me. I am a writer and aspiring novelist and your songs are like those of the Muses. Each of your songs has a story that in turn inspires my own creativity and I just want to thank you for that. So, thank you very much.

Poets of the Fall:

Thank you for everything. The best band on earth and first one, which songs are all very good. You don't have a song which I wouldn't like, I've loved every song you have made. I give my very best wishes for you and never stop making your beautiful music.
And one more time: Thank you :)

Besides making astounding good music, I really have to thank POTF for calming down my cat last Friday on the way to the vet. She was simply terrified (as usual whenever we get into the car, she knows that approx once per year the destination is the vet...) but as I switched on my car stereo and Heal my wounds started to play, she got much quieter...
It worked also on the way back (but, again, she knows that the only destination from the vet is home :) ).
It did work for my cat: try with other pets and then think over patenting this alternative use of your great music! (ok, maybe this doesn't apply to other songs like Pshycosis...)

By no means am I envious, but this I must make clear
Every time I had a nightmare, just one lyric of yours destroyed my fear
A chord on the guitars and keyboard, a pure note with a deep voice
Until now I had never experienced true music, and I'm grateful for my choice
The American blend of music doesn't compare to yours
It's original and has a flavor that no other could use without being unoriginal
Fickle words coax my mind to a world unlike any other
Undoubtedly, you are the best, and in this case
Love is a lifetime deal

Thank you, Poets of the Fall.

Attention Facebook members!!

The page 'We love Finland' has started a competition - which is the coolest finnish band. There are 19 bands. They created new pages for each band. I suggested POTF as the coolest one and I became the admin of the page.

I would like to ask all of you to like my page and spread the world to help POTF to win the competition. :P
Lets say thank you this way!
