I'm thinking something along the lines of some of the early soviet worker-themed art of the 20's and 30's, the kind of stuff they used to pump up the proles? I don't remember what that particular school of art is called, but similar to the film posters for "V is for Vendetta."

I know very little about Finnish politics and culture, apart from POTF, so how would that kind of thing play out over there?

In the USA, it would be seen as lefty/radical, which is generally pretty cool. And of course, the USSR is totally dead, which makes it safer to play with those images.

Stobe is involved in this. Participants download a music clip of The Ultimate Fling, make a video clip for it and submit it to the website. Three winners will get to film POTF's gig, and Stobe will help to make the final video from this material. For legal and practical reasons, this is unfortunately Finland only.

But that means that we will have to wait at least to April just to start the things moving. Stobe is doing another video clip right now and I guess he couldn't do 2 clips at once.

I think he means that the Poets shouldn't work for or with major-labels or produce some brainless mainstream-"music". But at this point, I don't see any transform-process to a major-production. POTF is an indie-band and that's a very cool thing. They won't sell their souls and their free mind.

Well, the only thing that happens here is that POTF fans can participate in one of POTF's new videos. Seems like only a good thing to me.
