Last night, when i heard The Beautiful Ones in my bet, almost sleeping, i found some thing out.
the intro is live a wave.
it comes from the sea, breaks and flushes the sand, and goes back to come again.

I triyed to put this into picture:

(i added some coloured bars, the rest is original)

at the green the water goes back into the sea, at the blue the wave gomes to the sea and at the red it breaks and goes back into the ocean.

in the song you only hear the wave's way back into the sea (green), and the arrive and break as one unit (blue and red, at the beach with smal waves it is very difficlut to differ between the un-broken wave and a broken wave.)

go to the beach of a sea (a quarry pond isn't enought ;)) watch the waves und then hear TBO and slow the waves from your mind to the speed of the music. :)

POTF always put great meaning into their songs, but this goes much too far if you ask me. "Waves" like these could be found in many songs.

I think every person finds smth close to him in songs of POTF
Phileas heard waves so this is her own perception of this music.
This songs are full of signs and their true meaning is known only by Marko
This is why it's hard to translate them ... I've onse tryed to make expressed in verse translation of "Locking up the sun" and when i finished i've got an absolutely different poem :)

Yeah... well... that's the beauty of art... it's open to interpretation.
