Not sure I can make it, I might have an exam early next morning, so... :? :(

But I was wondering: Do you have to order a ticket, or do you pay in the entrance? :?

I won't cry for my solitude, lay my head and dream of you
and hope that you'll come knocking on my door.

I'm going! It would be nice to meet in CPH before the gig somewhere too! :)

Yeah, I would want that too! Count me in! :) And about the tickets - no need to buy them in advance is there? Can you even do that, by the way?

There is one bad thing about POTF tickets: usually they are sold out very quickly

I don't know to suggest a meeting place in CPH, because I have never spent more than half a day at a time there. :? Maybe some cafe-like place to get something to eat and talk, near the central station/town hall square?

Me and a friend of mine are planning on going as well, but I want to ask the same question. Can you book the tickets and in that case, where, or do you have to buy on site?

I saw nowhere to buy tickets so hope they'll have them on sight! Otherwise, I'm screwed! Maybe Admin knows?

girls and guys!

You pretty much *have* to buy the ticket before the gig. I was on the phone with a nice guy from TheRock today, and he said that they *usually* have tickets at the door, but they don't know how many.

so if you want to be sure you have a ticket, then go to
http://www.billetlugen.dk/index.php?eid=5368 (for danes)
or
http://www.billetlugen.dk/index.php?eid=5368&lng=2 (for english speaking folks)
and buy the ticket there. you can even print them out at home. :D

just check out these lovely babies of mine:

Can't wait to see you peeps there ;)

talking about Copenhagen. I got this message on MySpace.

Subject Calling out Copenhagen!
Body: Hey there!

As a lot of you already know, we're packing up our instruments and heading towards Copenhagen, Denmark in less than two weeks (24th of May).

What we are looking for now is a few people to join our Street Team and give us a helping hand (or two!). The task is easy: we just want a few posters and flyers to be spread around the city to promote the gig, as soon as possible. Of course, we'll be sending you that stuff in the mail.

So, if you think you could spend one afternoon walking around the beautiful city of Copenhagen, send us an e-mail asap (streetteams@poetsofthefall.com)! In return, you will receive our greatest appreciation and possibly a nice surprise package in the mail later on.

See you at the gig, folks! :)

Marko, Olli & Captain
Poets of the Fall

PS: You don't need to be Danish to join our fun & friendly Street Teams - just follow this link and find out what it's all about:

For those of you who do not wish to register at Billetlugen.dk, it is also possible to buy tickets at any local FONA store located in Denmark. However, please note that this solution is slightly more expensive than ordering the tickets from the Internet.

It seems like Torn has been replaced by another support band named Kardia.

The official The Rock web site now also features a biography of Poets of the Fall in Danish (the biography is available here). The text states that they were runner-ups at the 2004 Olympics in Athens where they performed alongside Björk. Is this true?

Heh, does it actually say that they _performed_ there? Funny how information gets distorted along the way. It's true that someone somewhere at some point in time was thinking about getting the guys perform at the 2004 olympics (dunno who this was, apparently some organizer who liked POTF's music). Since this never materialized, and Björk did perform there, someone from the band jokingly said in an interview (in many interviews, in fact) that they "chose Björk instead". That's the whole story.

Indeed, it does state this :-) Thank you for the clarification.
