Hi everyone,

This year's gig at Vantaa (12-07-2013) is going to be a very special one as you might have heard, since there are going to be a hell lot of international fans. So we would like to do something special with it and for Poets.

This is why we have thought about a fan book. But not just a regular one. For this fan book we need all of YOU FANS to help us out. We want to add the following things:

Poems
Pictures
Artworks
Drawings
Letters ('thank you' letters, 'happy anniversary' letters, etc)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every single fan gets a maximum of 2 pages in the book to tell Poets how much you love them, talk about them, write a special poem for them, draw something, paint something, whatever. Every single fan piece will be added, except when going over the page limit, but we will discuss it with you personal if it happends.



There are some rules

1. you get only a max of 2 pages (page sizes 210mmx210mm)


2. images/pictures need to be at least 200PPI - PDF file/PSD file/AI file

If you don't know how to get your images on the right file size, or you don't know how to take a picture of your drawing/painting on the right way, just contact me (email below) and I would happily explain everything to you.


3. just be as creative as you can be




We, will try to talk with the management to give this book while Poets are on stage, that would be most amazing, don't you think?

2. Since we want to print and bind this book in the best quality, it will cost like, a lot (around 100 euro's per printed and binded book). Therefor, we would like to ask you for some donations. Note: it's not mandatory, you may give what you want to give, if you have something to give. If we get a lot of donations, we'll see if we can print more books (6 max) to hand over to all of the guy's, instead of one, so they don't need to share. Updates about the account-number and the actual book prices will follow somewhere next week.

3. You may order a book for yourself, but, the costs (printing/binding/shipping) will be completely for your side. It would be around 100 euro's without shipping. Send us an email if you are interested. Updates about the account-number and the actual book prices will follow somewhere next week.

3. The book itself is getting more pages, but it still looks a bit empty. We hope you will all take part on this! Remember, everything being send in AFTER 19th of June, will be declined.

I'm not extremely creative, but i'm gonna think about it... who knows i might come up with something

I'm happy to tell you that I already received some files from a couple of people. Already put it in the book lay-out!

So, here is an update I was planning on sending this weekend but I got some hotmail (outlook now) issues. It seems that it's not working the way I want to...

Anyway, since I don't have all of your mail addresses, I'm not able to send it over to everyone, so I hope you all will forward this mail to every fan who would like to participate in this book.

Dear POTFans,

you read it well, this is an update about the POTF Anniversary Fan Book. The book is already getting together, although we still don’t have enough of your works. We feel like we’re almost running out of time, but maybe that is because putting a book like this together, with all of the pieces that you create, is a harder job than it seems.

A hell lot of you fans told us that you want to add something, which is amazing! We got more reactions than we would ever suspect. You still have some time, exactly one month, but, re- member that time really flies. So, if you have any friends or family who love Poets, but don’t know anything about this project yet, please let them know.



As for donations:
*I have set up a paypal account, just for this project, where you can donate what you want. You don’t HAVE too, but the more donates, the more books we could print for Poets. It would be amazing to give them all their own copy instead of one to share. If you don’t have a paypal and you do want to donate, I would have to figure out what the best options are. If you know an option or idea, we would happily hear your thoughts on this. By the way, a paypal account is free and easily set up, if you want one.

Last thursday I have been to the printing office that I had in mind for printing the books. Since I also need to do an internship from 24th of July till the 5th of May, I’m going to do that in that printing office, so I will be there at the whole printing process (might be able to print it myself). That way, I will learn and the books will be MUCH cheaper.

We, Erin, Kais and me, got a lot of questions about making this book available for everyone. This is a subject that we are still discussing on what way is the best way to do that. E-books, PDF’s, asking donations for them or not is still a question for us. We would like to get your opinion about it too! Also, you will have the chance to order the real book for yourself, but you would need to pay the full price of this book, since we can’t do it for you.

As for that matter:
*send us, BEFORE 24th of May, your request on the book. We don’t know the price yet, it is based on the amount of pages and the amount of books that we are going to print. The more books, the cheaper the price per book! But if the book would have around 200 pages the price per book would vary between 30 and 80 euro’s. YOU ONLY PAY FOR THE BOOK'S MATERIAL.
