I wanted to go so badly, but I can't afford it at this time. :( I wish them the best of luck. Rock the house, and show them all how it's done, guys!

A friend of mine who lives in Newport Beach California said I could fly to California to visit and we could go up to LA for the show. However, just like TheArtist, I cant afford it right now. :(

I really want to go!!! :? But I have such a ridiculous reason that holds me  ... I'm right here - in California! BUT I HAVE NO ONE TO GO WITH! You know... I'm too young, my parents not letting me go with my friends or without an adult! I know that along I would be lost, but I hope to find somebody. And I hope my parents will help me with expenses.

Has anyone heard anything about ticket prices? I can't find out any information on tickets! I even checked the HOB website and they don't even list them as playing there that night :?: Or list the MusExpo thing at all...

Hey!! I would be coming to CA...due to my GE job now I am ordered to report in SF, CA. :D
But I m not sure like I would be coming in between end of April or not.

As from my precious experience...MusExpo can be the great for an exclusive group of high-level music and media professionals around the world.

MusExpo will be in Los Angeles, CA from April 27 – April 30, 2007 at the Hyatt in West Hollywood, CA.

Poets of the fall in 'House of blues' as showcasing artists of MusExpo 2008!

This is surely going to increase their popularity among the US regions. 8)

MUSEXPO will place a strong emphasis on the discovery and development of talent...creative avenues to market and break new artists, music showcases...

'Sunset Strip' in West Hollywood is awesome place. It's world famous for its urban development with restaurants, clubs, shopping, and exciting entertainment. It's in Hollywood Hills.

Yes, it is weird!
I constantly keep checking The house of Blues, but there's nothing!
Maybe it's because it is more than a month to the show yet?
Just from looking on average price of tickets in house of Blues, I don't think that the tickets going to be really expensive. :?
My niece,(she is much older than me - it's a long story  ) worked before across the street of house of Blues, in some recording studio... So she said that the tickets are not that expensive.

hmmm
Let me check their House of blue website. But as you guys are saying than it must be true.

But ticket price shall not be damn high I think. Acually the Musexpo concept is also to make awarness for new comers bands all around the world.

So it won't be that much costly. And seriously all USA core fans shouldn't have to miss the chance to see poets.

I had missed & I had to coz our college was not invited by IITK.
But I must say that it is in RR tours so it will more fun to see them live with whole newly made mastrpieces.

It's possible you can't buy tickets to the show at all, since Musexpo is meant mainly for music industry professionals. However, we are working on ways to get fans to the venue, stay tuned for more info...

A job in the industry would be great!! I'm just hoping when they play here someone will hear how great they are and that it would get the ball rolling for them to be signed here and for them to do a regular tour!! That is one dream I hope comes true

Even if you had a job in the industry poetgirl, you would still have to pay the ~500 bucks just to get in to Musexpo ...

I understand I would have to pay, but it would be a small price to pay. Besides, I'm sure the company I worked for would pay for me to go.. Anyway...I'm just trying to find a way to go..can't blame a girl for trying!

Just thought I'd bump this up. Is there any new information on the possibility of the public being able to attend? I just found out my college semester ends the day before the concert, so I'd actually be able to make it if the guys get something worked out at the venue.

Hey guys, I checked out the MuseExpo website http://www.musexpo.net/ .....

Guys, this isn't a standard concert, this is an Expo which means there are not going to be tickets for sale. Instead you must purchase a badge.

The bad news is that in order to attend the convention you must pay $750 for a badge. $795 if you just walk up to the door and register there.

The good news is that this means, provided you can attend the convention, you get to see ALL the acts, including Poets of the Fall, for no additional charge: just simply walk in.

Tuesday, April 29th, 11:55pm (a midnight show) at the House of Blues.

They're also advertizing "networking" parties and lounges for the music junkies and the artists to mingle. Can you imagine how crazy that'd be, walking into a lounge and there's the Poet guys just chilling and having a beer?

Albina, I don't see anything about a minimum age, and since you're almost eighteen I don't think anyone would call you on it, especially if you just acted cool and like you belonged there. 8)

I tell ya, if I could get the money together I'd go in an instant. INSTANT I tell ya!

Worry not, friends!

If you're coming to see the gig, just send me and M (yes, just the letter M as a nickname :)) a PM with your real name and e-mail address in it asap.

Also, if you've been somehow active in the Street Teams or want to do something for the band before the gig, let us know! This concerns both the people who want to see the gig and those who are just living in somewhere on the east coast but are not sure if they can make it.

I'll be on the road for the next two weeks so any questions you might wanna ask can be sent via PM, but it could take me a day or two to reply. I'll try to check my e-mail and messages every day though.

See you in LA!!!!! :D

I'm on the guestlist! 8)

Just a quick question, though, to anyone else who's going. How much is it going to cost to get in? I've been trying to contact M about it and haven't gotten a response yet. If it's too high, I won't be able to make it because I've already got to pay about $700 for the flight itself.

I just saw the news posting on the frontpage and sent an e-mail off. I really hope I get accepted on the guestlist for Musexpo. Poets are my favorite band, no exaggeration.

I live in California and can't stand the thought of having Poets come so close to home without me getting a chance to see them! I live up north, but I can get to Los Angeles pretty easily and won't give up for something this important. Here in California we have Amtrak and Greyhound available if worst comes to worst and I do not have a designated ride.

I'm really glad that Poets are trying to get some fans in for this show, especially considering this is their first stop here in North America (as far as I know). Sure, there will be all the industry and music people there, but I think if they saw us fans out there supporting the band, knowing the lyrics, and singing along...well...they might realize more so just how awesome this band really is.

Just because they don't have a huge American fanbase yet, doesn't mean that we aren't out here. I'm really glad that Poets has us fans on the other side of the world in mind, even if we aren't nearly as big of a group as the European fanbase.

Don't worry about us crazy Americans, we won't let you down at the show! (That's our government's job, after all.) Just get us in and we'll be the best fans ever!

Here's hoping I see you all on the 29th.
