I've been feeling depressed as of late. Pretty much no idea why. Everyone seems to be distancing themselves from me, I've got no-one to talk to. People I considered my closest friends can't even be bothered to acknowledge that I exist anymore. And to put it straight I don't know what the fuck to do....

Sure practice and work are extremely important. But you really need heart. You need a feel for the instrument and you need to love playing it. As long as you have some basic background knowledge, you should be fine on your own as long as you play regularly and experiment
